ANALISIS PROSEDUR PEMBERIAN KREDIT PADA PT. BANK PEREKONOMIAN RAKYAT MITRA ARTA MULIA KABUPATEN BENGKALIS

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the credit granting procedures at PT. Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR) Mitra Arta Mulia, Bengkalis Regency. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation obtained during a professional internship. The analysis focuses on credit application stages, feasibility assessment based on the 5C principles, credit disbursement, and credit supervision. The results indicate that the credit procedures have been implemented in accordance with the prudential banking principle. However, several obstacles were identified, including limited customer understanding and the risk of late repayments. This study is expected to provide input for improving credit distribution effectiveness.
