Abstract

Student learning activities play an important role in determining the success of the learning process because through various learning activities students can gain knowledge, develop skills, and form positive attitudes. One of the learning models that can foster student activeness is Driling Tasking Practicing. This study aims to describe the steps, advantages, and disadvantages of applying the model to PJOK learning in several MTs, namely MTs N 1 Klaten, MTs Muh. Jumantono, MTs Muh. 2 Karanganyar, MTs N 1 Sukoharjo, MAN 4 Boyolali, and MTs N 3 Sukoharjo. The research used a qualitative approach with PJOK teacher informants through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the steps of applying this model include conveying goals, repeated practice (drilling), giving independent assignments (tasking), direct practice (practicing), and evaluating learning outcomes. The advantages of this model are that it improves accuracy, speed, basic skills, and student independence, and is effective for reinforcement of material. However, this model requires teacher expertise and careful planning. Overall, the Driling Tasking Practicing model is effective in improving students' PJOK activities and learning outcomes.
