HUBUNGAN POLA MAKAN DENGAN KEJADIAN GASTRITIS PADA REMAJA SMA/SMK: LITERATURE REVIEW

Gastritis is a digestive system disorder frequently experienced by adolescents, generally caused by unhealthy eating habits, such as irregular mealtimes, consumption of spicy, acidic, and caffeinated foods, and skipping meals. This study aims to examine the relationship between eating habits and the incidence of gastritis in adolescents, drawing on the findings of five previous studies. The method used was a literature review with a search for articles in five journals published between 2021 and 2024. The articles analyzed were quantitative studies with a cross-sectional design that discussed dietary patterns and the incidence of gastritis in the adolescent population. The analysis showed that all articles concluded a significant relationship between dietary patterns and the incidence of gastritis. Adolescents with poor dietary patterns are at higher risk of developing gastritis compared to adolescents with healthy eating patterns. Statistical analysis of each study showed a p-value <0.05, indicating a significant relationship between dietary patterns and gastritis. Therefore, dietary patterns are an important factor influencing the incidence of gastritis in adolescents, necessitating education and preventive measures through the development of healthier eating habits.
