EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA DIGITAL DALAM EDUKASI PASIEN DAN KELUARGA PADA LAYANAN GAWAT DARURAT: SUATU SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

The use of digital media in health education is growing, particularly in emergency services, which require fast, accurate, and easy-to-understand information delivery. This literature review analyzes the effectiveness of various forms of digital media, such as animated videos, QR codes, and audiovisual media in waiting rooms, in improving understanding and reducing anxiety for patients and families in the Emergency Department (ED). The search was conducted using the PRISMA method through Google Scholar, PubMed, and SciSpace, resulting in an initial collection of 198 articles. After deduplication, title-abstract screening, and full-text eligibility evaluation, four studies met the final criteria. The review results showed that digital media consistently increased knowledge about the emergency system, ED service flow, and health procedures, while QR code-based triage education significantly reduced anxiety for patient families. Digital media also supported service efficiency by reducing repetitive questions in the ED waiting room. These findings confirm that digital media is an adaptive and effective educational approach to improving the quality of emergency care.
