This research examines the Documentation Study of the Use of Mendeley Reference Management in Educational Administration Students' Thesis at Makassar State University. The aim of the research is to find out about the use of Mendeley Reference Management in Educational Administration Student Thesis at Makassar State University. This research approach is a qualitative approach that is descriptive analysis. The sources for this research are students from the Department of Educational Administration who have written a thesis. Data collection procedures include interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that: 1) 88.75% of 80 students used Mendeley reference management from the Class of 2019 and 2020 based on department archives. 2) The most common obstacle to using Mendeley reference management experienced by students is importing references. 3) The impact of using Mendeley reference management on the thesis of Educational Administration students at Makassar State University has a positive and significant impact on thesis writing, the impact felt is helping students in making citations and bibliography, displaying accurate and clear documentation, improving the quality of the thesis, assisting in reference management, and improve efficiency..
