Abstract

Learning activities are activities that involve full commitment to learning and involve various activities such as asking questions, seeking information, and solving problems. The learning media used in this study is papan pintar media. In this study, papan pintar media is used as learning. Students can play smart whiteboard media by matching application images with Pancasila symbols 1-5 attached to boxes on a rectangular piece of cardboard. These symbols represent Pancasila, and this media is designed as a learning aid. Therefore, this media becomes more interesting and attracts students' attention. Smart whiteboard media has the potential to encourage students to lead and express themselves creatively. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of (1) the implementation process of learning using papan pintar media. (2) student activity before using papan pintar media on the material of symbols and the application of Pancasila. (3) student activity after using papan pintar media on the material of symbols and the application of Pancasila. This research method is quantitative. Data collected using an observation questionnaire sheet for activity which aims to determine student activity before and after treatment with the help of papan pintar media. Observations related to student activity conducted by researchers, and documentation as a supporting or complementary instrument. The results of the study showed that the results of activity before and after treatment were different, indicating that there was an increase. Before treatment using papan pintar media had an average of 54.75. while after treatment had an average of 85.25. Thus, it can be concluded that the activity of using papan pintar media can increase student activity in the material of symbols and the application of Pancasila in class III SDN Bandung 1 Jombang.
