Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of digital media literacy on students' academic achievement at SDN 1105 Aek Bonban. Digital media literacy refers to the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and create information through various forms of digital media. In today’s digital era, these skills are essential in supporting students’ learning processes. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population in this study were all grade IV students at SDN 1105 Aek Bonban, with samples taken purposively. The instruments used include a questionnaire to measure the level of digital media literacy and students’ report card grades as an indicator of academic achievement. Data analysis results show a positive and significant influence of digital media literacy on students’ academic performance. Students with a high level of digital media literacy tend to achieve better academic results. These findings highlight the importance of integrating digital technology into primary education to enhance learning quality.
