The formation of students’ religious character is a primary objective of education in Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren). One effort to instill religious values is through the habituation of reciting Asmaul Husna. This study aims to examine the implementation of the habituation of reciting Asmaul Husna and to analyze its influence on the formation of students’ religious character at Pondok Pesantren Darul Hikmah. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving pesantren caregivers, teachers (asatidz), and students as research participants. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the habituation of reciting Asmaul Husna, when carried out routinely and in a structured manner, has a positive impact on the formation of students’ religious character, as reflected in increased discipline in worship, inner tranquility, respectful and courteous behavior, as well as moral awareness and responsibility in daily life. The success of this activity is supported by the role of caregivers, the exemplary conduct of teachers, and the active participation of students, although several challenges remain in its implementation. Therefore, the habituation of reciting Asmaul Husna has a significant contribution to the development of students’ religious character in the pesantren environment.
