Dampak Fluktuasi Kurs Terhadap Ekspor Timah di Bangka Belitung Tahun 2019 – 2024

This study aims to analyze the impact of exchange rate fluctuations on tin exports in the Bangka Belitung Province during the period 2019 to 2024. A descriptive approach was employed using secondary data, including the exchange rate of the Indonesian Rupiah against the US Dollar (USD), regional tin export data, and global tin price trends based on London Metal Exchange (LME) closing prices. The findings reveal that the relationship between exchange rate movements and export performance is not linear. The highest export value occurred in 2022 when the exchange rate remained relatively stable, coinciding with a global tin price peak. In contrast, export performance declined during 2023–2024, despite a depreciating Rupiah, due to falling global tin prices and weakening international demand. This indicates that tin export performance is more strongly influenced by a combination of factors—particularly world tin prices, global market demand, and national trade policies. These findings highlight the importance of macroeconomic stability and the promotion of downstream industrialization to enhance regional export resilience amid external economic volatility.
