PERAN ORGANISASI KEPEMUDAAN SEBAGAI WADAH GENERASI MUDA: STUDI KASUS GARUDA KEADILAN BANDAR LAMPUNG

This article discusses Garuda Keadilan (GK) which is a youth organization affiliated with the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) and focuses on fostering the younger generation, especially the children of party cadres. This article aims to describe and analyze how GK carries out its strategic role in producing young cadres who not only have political understanding, but also character, independence, and integrity. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a direct observation and interview approach with the Chairperson of the Bandar Lampung branch of PKS Muda. The results showed that GK implemented a gradual coaching strategy through regeneration, awareness, empowerment, and development. Programs such as Political School, soft skills training, mentoring, and the use of social media are effective tools in shaping youth leadership. In addition, GK also emphasizes the role of youth as a moral force, social control, and agent of change in the life of the nation. This article concludes that youth organizations such as GK have a real contribution in preparing young people who are adaptive to the challenges of the times and ready to play an active role in socio-political transformation in Indonesia.
