This research discusses the role of Liga Mahasiswa Indonesia untuk Demokrasi (LMID) Bandar Lampung City as a youth organization consisting of progressive and critical students in fighting for issues of democracy, social justice, and people's rights. Through a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques, this research examines the history, organizational structure, work programs, and struggle strategies of LMID in advocating social change and democracy at the local level. The results show that LMID not only functions as a moral force and social control, but also as an agent of change active in political education, public policy advocacy, and community empowerment. Internal constraints such as member consistency and organizational coordination, as well as external challenges in the form of lack of institutional support and pressure from outside parties, are overcome through strengthening regeneration and ideological education.
