Optimasi Profil Tegangan Sistem Distribusi 6-Bus Menggunakan Kapasitor Bank Berbasis ETAP 19.0.1

This study analyzes the load flow of a 6-bus distribution system using ETAP 19.0.1 software. The initial load flow simulation revealed undervoltage conditions on certain buses, particularly bus 5 and bus 6, which were below the IEEE standard. To address this issue, the Optimal Capacitor Placement (OCP) feature was applied, recommending capacitor installations of 629 kVar on bus 4 and 1338 kVar on bus 6. The post-installation simulation results showed voltage improvements across all buses, bringing them within the IEEE standard range (0.95 ≤ Vb ≤ 1.05 pu). Therefore, capacitor bank installation is proven to be effective in improving voltage profiles and enhancing power quality in the distribution system.
