ANALISIS PERAN TEKNOLOGI FTTH BERBASIS GPON DALAM MENDUKUNG TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL WILAYAH PEDESAAN

Transformasi digital menuntut ketersediaan infrastruktur broadband berkecepatan tinggi yang andal, namun kesenjangan akses di wilayah pedesaan masih menjadi kendala utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran teknologi Fiber to the Home (FTTH) berbasis Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) dalam mendukung pemerataan akses broadband. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap publikasi ilmiah periode 2020–2025 dari berbagai database bereputasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa FTTH-GPON mampu menyediakan kapasitas bandwidth tinggi, latensi rendah, serta kualitas layanan (QoS) yang stabil dengan parameter teknis seperti link power budget yang memenuhi standar. Selain itu, penggunaan arsitektur jaringan optik pasif meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan menurunkan biaya operasional. Dari sisi implementasi, ketersediaan jaringan broadband berbasis FTTH berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan akses layanan digital, termasuk pendidikan dan kesehatan, serta mendukung inklusi digital di wilayah pedesaan. Namun demikian, implementasi FTTH-GPON masih menghadapi keterbatasan infrastruktur serta belum terintegrasinya aspek teknis, ekonomi, dan sosial secara komprehensif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan integratif dalam perencanaan dan pengembangan jaringan FTTH berbasis GPON untuk mendukung transformasi digital yang berkelanjutan.
