Pentingnya Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Pendaftaran Tanah untuk Mewujudkan Kepastian Hukum

Abstract

Land registration has a very important role in realising legal certainty for landowners, as well as supporting more orderly and transparent natural resource management. Through active community participation, the land registration process can take place efficiently, provide legal legality for land ownership, and reduce potential conflicts that often arise due to unclear land ownership status. In addition, this article also discusses strategies to deal with challenges in increasing community participation, such as low understanding of the benefits of land registration, limited access, and cost barriers. Therefore, policies that support socialisation, simplification of procedures, and improved access to land registration services are needed. Optimal community participation not only provides direct benefits in terms of legal certainty, but also contributes to sustainable economic and social development. Thus, collaboration between the government, communities and the private sector is key to achieving the goal of effective and inclusive land registration.
