Abstract

This study analyzes the key components that support the effectiveness of management information systems (SIM) in organizations. With the development of information technology, an effective SIM is essential for quick and informed decision-making. This research identifies three key components: hardware, software, and database, as well as other supporting factors such as business processes and human resources. The methodology used was a qualitative approach through interviews and case studies in various organizations. The results show that optimal integration between hardware and software, as well as good database management, contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of SIM. The findings provide insights for organizations in designing and implementing better SIM to improve performance and competitiveness.
