This community engagement program aims to enhance digital financial literacy among housewives in Padangsambian Klod, West Denpasar. Using a mixed-methods design, a two day intervention combined lectures, demonstrations, simulations, and guided practice, complemented by pre and post testing, participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and a brief FGD. Fifteen participants (aged 25–50) were trained on e-wallets, mobile banking, QRIS payments, basic budgeting, and cybersecurity. Quantitative results show mean literacy scores rising from 55.7 (pre) to 84.3 (post), with “low” literacy dropping from 53% to 0% and “high” increasing from 13% to 67%. The largest sub-domain gains were in distinguishing legal vs. illegal online lending (27% → 93%) and understanding two-factor authentication (33% → 87%). One month after training, 67% routinely used digital financial services and 60% practiced expense recording. Qualitative evidence indicates stronger self-efficacy, heightened fraud awareness, and tangible shifts in daily financial behaviors. Institutional support (women’s community groups), a contextual hands-on pedagogy, and plain language were pivotal to success. Limitations include small sample size and short evaluation horizon. The intervention is replicable via village learning circles and sustained partnerships with formal financial institutions to advance financial inclusion and strengthen household economic resilience.
