Abstrak. Measles continues to pose a serious public health threat due to its high transmissibility, despite the availability of an effective vaccine. Compliance with the measles immunization schedule is essential for establishing herd immunity, reducing transmission rates, and preventing outbreaks. Vaccination coverage, however, remains uneven and is influenced by factors such as parental or patient knowledge about immunization and the level of family support provided. Limited understanding of vaccine benefits and resistance stemming from misinformation can hinder the achievement of community immunity. This study systematically reviewed literature published between 2021 and 2025, sourced from PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect, following the PRISMA framework. The findings reveal that adequate knowledge and strong family support significantly enhance adherence to measles vaccination. Families with better awareness and consistent support are more likely to follow immunization schedules reliably, thereby improving coverage and the overall effectiveness of public health initiatives.
