Media Sosial X dalam Membentuk Identitas Sosial Digital Generasi Z

Social media X has become a platform in shaping the digital society identity of Generation Z through tren dynamics, symbolic interactions, and algorithmic pressures. This research aims to analyze the role of social media X in the formation of Generation Z’s digital identity. A descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach is used in this study to deeply understand how social media X shapes Generation Z’s digital identity. This research reveals three main factors of social media X’s role in forming Generation Z’s digital identity: (1) attachement to trends and the majority opinions of X users, (2) the need of validation through digitial interactions, (3) the seperation between digital identity and real world identity.
