TANTANGAN PROFESIONALISME GURU DI DAERAH 3T (TERTINGGAL,TERDEPAN,TERLUAR) : KAJIAN LITERATUR TERHADAP KETIMPANGAN PENDIDIKAN

Educational inequality remains a central issue in Indonesia’s national development, particularly in 3T regions (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost). This article aims to explore the challenges of teacher professionalism in these areas through a comprehensive literature review of prior research and policy documents. The findings reveal that teachers in 3T regions face various obstacles, such as low welfare, lack of professional development opportunities, uneven teacher distribution, and difficult geographical conditions that hinder access to education. Furthermore, inadequate infrastructure and uneven budget allocation exacerbate the educational gap. Despite the implementation of several policies, such as the National Teacher Distribution System (SPGN) and the Frontier Teacher Program (GGD), these initiatives still encounter difficulties in execution. A more comprehensive, innovative, and locally responsive approach is needed to enhance thez quality and equity of education in 3T areas.
