Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Bencana Alam di Kabupaten Kendal Tahun 2024

This study aims to map the spatial distribution of flood and landslide disasters in Kendal Regency in 2024 using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. The research method employed is descriptive with a spatial approach. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Kendal Regency, including disaster occurrence data and population density (people/km²) by district. The data were processed using QGIS software through the integration of spatial and non-spatial data and the classification of disaster vulnerability levels into low, medium, and high categories. The results of this study are thematic maps that illustrate variations in disaster vulnerability levels across districts in Kendal Regency. This mapping is expected to support the analysis of disaster-prone areas and serve as a reference for disaster mitigation planning and risk reduction.
