Abstract

Waste management remains an environmental challenge due to increasing waste generation driven by population growth and urban activities. This study aims to analyze waste generation, reduction, and handling in Central Java Province in 2024 using a Web-based Geographic Information System (WebGIS). A quantitative descriptive method with spatial analysis was applied using secondary data from the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN). The results indicate significant disparities among regencies and cities, where urban areas generate higher waste volumes, while waste reduction and handling remain uneven. WebGIS effectively supports spatial visualization and decision-making in regional waste management planning.
