The ability to write scientific papers is an essential academic skill for students of Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD). This skill is necessary for presenting ideas systematically, developing critical thinking, and preparing academic papers, journal articles, and undergraduate theses in accordance with scientific writing conventions. However, students may encounter various difficulties, including selecting research topics, developing ideas, using academic language, finding relevant references, and preparing citations and reference lists correctly. This article aims to examine the importance of scientific writing skills for PIAUD students, identify factors that support these skills, and explain strategies for improving them. This study employs a literature review approach (library research) by examining relevant scholarly journal articles that are accessible online. The data are analyzed descriptively and qualitatively through the collection, categorization, and interpretation of information, followed by drawing conclusions. The review is intended to explain how scientific writing skills can be supported by reading habits, learning motivation, knowledge of academic writing conventions, digital literacy, and lecturer guidance. Strengthening these skills is expected to help PIAUD students produce systematic, critical, responsible, and meaningful academic writing that contributes to the development of early childhood education.
