Kualitas Hadis-Hadis Mu'allaq dalam Kitab Adab Al-'Alim Wa Al-Muta'allim

Abstract

The book Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta’allim by KH Hasyim Asy’ari contains important discussions on the ethics of teachers and students, along with several incompletely cited hadiths, requiring further examination of their authenticity. This study aims to analyze the hadiths contained in Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta’allim and determine the quality of their chains of transmission and texts. This research employs a qualitative method using library research and a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were obtained from the main book, Kutub al-Tis’ah, and hadith literature, supported by the Mausu’ah application. The findings show that the hadith concerning acquiring knowledge through perseverance is classified as weak due to an interrupted chain of transmission, while the hadiths concerning learning knowledge for Allah and prohibiting sinful acts are classified as authentic. In conclusion, the hadiths in the book have varying levels of authenticity, emphasizing the importance of examining their chains and texts before using them as a basis for teaching ethics.
